Responsibilities
The accountant position is based in Manila, Philippines. The accountant will provide support with the AP & AR function, reconciliations, month end, cash monitoring, general ledger tasks and general ad hoc tasks to support the team.
The role will also cross train in fund accounting (unit pricing) once the primary tasks have been bedded down.
The role is a hands-on role initially, with business growth this role will grow the offshore team.
The applicant will have the ability to apply accounting principles to support the business.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least aBachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy or any Business related course,
With experience in Funds Management or Financial services industries is an advantage
Preferably with working knowledge in PFS Paxus Fund Accounting/Sage software Advanced excel – manipulation, pivot tables, advanced formulas, basic macros.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advance) and must have strong English communication skills
Proactive with good interpersonal skills and a team player.
Can able to work with conflicting deadlines and priorities.
Must be willing to work in a hybrid work setting in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
