Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assitant role would suit enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with experience in preparation of financial statement, bank reconciliation, general ledger, profit and loss, trial balance, and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Preparation and analysis of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement
• Consolidation of various financial information and projections related to expenses, headcount, and personnel cost assumptions
• Provide high level accounting and financial management services, review and processing of transactions and reconciliations in Accordance with Accounting Standards
• Proactively contribute to review and creation of Accounting relating policies and procedures
• Any task/duty as directed by client/management

• Must possess at a Bachelor's / College Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent
• At least 5 years of proven professional experience as a Financial Accountant in a medium to large corporate environment
• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret and comprehend financial and non-financial data
• Experience in using SAP/Oracle desired with the ability to learn new software application
• Preferably with 3 years minimum experience in MYOB Account Right Premier V12 – V19
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Work, Excel and Power point)
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
• Ability to work flexibly and demonstrate a willingness to respond to changing work requirements and peak periods
• Previous experience working for an Australian client is an advantage
• Must be willing to work in a shifting schedule and/or weekends and holidays in Makati City
