Accounts Payable Manager (Permanent Work From Home Setup)

The Accounts Payable Manager should manage the offshore financial operations team under Diversify. This role is also offshore and is planned to support the Director Fin Ops on managing the P2P process.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly Closing: ensure all AP activities are closed on a timely basis as according to the monthly closing timetable; ensure no exceptional items from AP module; ensure collections/Bank revelations are posted; ensure there is no significant difference between GL bank balance and actual bank balance
  • Audits and Compliance: Review audit schedules for bank and AP related GLs before the 15th of every month; follow up and resolve bank reconciliation items closely; ensure no long outstanding items sitting in the schedules; collaborate with external auditors during the audit process.
  • Provide necessary documentation, explanations. Support compliance with audit requirements.
  • Supporting the Group Finance Operations Director on managing the P2P process: communicate with PO approvers and requesters regularly to ensure POs are approved and GRN’d on a timely manner; open POs are reviewed and cleaned regularly; review invoice posting for 2-way match invoices; ensure all payments to vendor on set up correctly and vendor are paid timely; ensure no service suspension or late payment interest incurred due to late payment
  • Maintain vendor master list: created / extend /inactivate vendors; update staff claim form based on HC report
  • Verify monthly sales commissions and properly account for it
  • Assist the Group Finance Operations Director in ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Accountancy or Finance equivalent
  • Familiar with P2P process
  • Strong Technical knowledge in Singapore/International Accounting Standards
  • Experience in G/L activities
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experienced in the Month end Closing process
  • Attention to details
  • Strong organization skills and task closure abilities
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
