This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager. The AP Accountant is responsible for the administration of (one or more) entities. The AP Accountant should be able to replace an other AP Accountant during holiday or sickness. The Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for monitoring the AP e-mailboxes, processing invoices, booking of the bank mutations, creating payment batches, creating new vendors, checking vendor subledgers and approving expense claims from employees.. This position requires communicating with the SSC, Commissary, Purchase, suppliers and other stakeholders across the company.
Responsibilities
Proactively oversee the daily incoming flow and process it.
Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge in relation to government regulations regarding supplier invoicing
Maintain accurate and complete vendor records in Navision
Provide a good service to our internal stakeholders in relation to our processes (Expensya,Medius, NAV)
Identify recommendations for improved and proposed AP processesResearch vendor inquiries and provide quality customer service
Assist AP manager with integration of new processes or tools into the Accounts Payable team
Assist other team members if necessary – be an effective team member.
Work close with Purchase department, Commissary and vendors to resolve issues
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s College Degree in the related field
Must possess at least 2 to 3 years of relative work experience in Accounts Payable and other related field.
Must have fluency in handling verbal and written business transactions in the French language.
Must have strong attention to detail, can work well under pressure, excellent time management and prioritization skills
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to be flexible to changing demands and challenges and exercise initiative
Must be capable of exercising empathy and diplomatic exchange in all working relationships
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be willing to work in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City on a Hybrid work Setup
