This person will provide administrative support to the Import Buying Team.
Responsibilities
Liaise with suppliers from multiple countries regarding the timely supply of accurate product information and imagery.
Arrange product photography and quality inspections as required.
Entry of product data into SAP to ensure accurate information is stored for ordering and warehouse purposes.
Review Quality Control reports and communicate inspection results with suppliers and buying team.
Prepare product information to submit new products to the website, including accurate descriptions, dimensions, features, pricing and image file labelling.
Always ensure on-site accuracy of product information and images to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
Respond to Customer Care enquiries promptly and liaise with suppliers to resolve issues.
Identify reoccurring issues with products and recommend improvements to the buyers.
You will be required to become an expert in the categories you are looking after, so a genuine interest in furniture and homewares as well as attention to detail are crucial
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in Administrative Assistant/Data Analyst/Quality Assurance or any relevant roles
With experience in SAP an advantage but not a strict requirement
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, especially highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets)
Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good-record-keeping
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on and detail-oriented
Amenable to work in BGC in an Early Morning Shift
