Data Entry Analyst

The Data Entry Analyst will be a part of a pioneer team for one of the leading financial data and services and proprietary discovery platform companies in the US. This role will mainly be responsible in handling private markets transaction data to onboard and drive meaningful insights into an industry-leading data and research. This involves interpreting data requests and delivering data updates to the company’s customer platform and internal teams. The person for this role must have a keen eye for details and must be capable of managing large amounts of data and information.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily data operations researching, sourcing, and data entry to our platform.
  • Own a process, function, or small dataset operation with minimal daily help from your manager
  • Improve methodology and communicate updates with necessary documentation
  • Provide training and ramping support to new members of the team.
  • Manage and complete time-sensitive custom research requests
  • Manage and respond to inquiries from internal colleagues regarding data requests and published research
  • Participate in various company projects as requested
  • Contribute to and provide data support to broader product teams as they develop content for blog posts, data-graphics, and newsletter stories.
  • Work closely with our Data Operations team in the USA to achieve profile production targets with it’s auditing.
  • Format PDF/MS Excel files based on company specifications, organize data into the file system, and endorse data to other teams

Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in data entry
  • Knowledge in financial data and financial terminologies is an advantage
  • With at least basic skill-level proficiency in MS Excel. Intermediate and advanced skills are an advantage
  • Must also be comfortable in using various MS Office tools and PDF tools
  • Must have a keen attention to details and must be comfortable in handling large amounts of data
  • Must have high comprehension and aptitude
  • Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Must be open to feedback and must be willing to undergo training
  • Must be willing to work in the graveyard shift (EST Timezone), Monday to Friday
  • This role is for a permanent work from home setup
