PrivCo is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Operations Associate to join our Investment Data Research team. As a valued team member, you'll work with private markets transaction data to onboard and drive meaningful insights into a fascinating industry and power our industry leading data and research. In addition, you'll leverage your research skills to interpret data requests and deliver a data updates to our customer platform and the internal team. Our team utilizes technical data analysis skills in conjunction with deep financial and private capital markets industry knowledge to deliver the most accurate and digestible information to our clients
Responsibilities
Opportunity to contribute to research the private company and industry information and financials.
Perform Daily Data Operations researching, sourcing, and data entry to our platform.
Own a process, function, or small dataset operation with minimal daily help from your manager
Ability to improve methodology and communicate updates with necessary documentation
Provide training and ramping support to new members of the team.
Manage and complete time-sensitive custom research requests
Manage and respond to inquiries from internal colleagues regarding data requests and published research
Support the vision and values of the company through ownerships and culture.
Participate in various company projects as requested
Contribute to and provide data support to broader product teams as they develop content for blog posts, data-graphics, and newsletter stories.
Work closely with our Data Operations team in the USA to achieve profile production targets with it’s auditing
Qualifications
You have 2-3 years of expertise working with finance and data
Strong interest in private financial markets
Experience with financial data research
You demonstrate excellent communication skills- - speaking to internal executives and external partners comes with ease
You have incredible attention to detail
Experience with Google Spreadsheets; Microsoft Excel and their functions (pivot tables, table lookups, etc.) - including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
You are a teammate and can collaborate cross-functionally
