Development Operations Engineer

This role will be responsible in delivering complex internal system development projects across a variety of products and technologies. The Development Operations role is a master developer with the ability to convert concepts into deliverable solutions.

• Successfully manage the delivery of projects through planning, coordinating and leading activities across the full delivery life cycle
• Managing the delivery of multiple complex simultaneous system development projects from design through to release
• Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level
• Working closely with Development Project Managers and Business Analysts to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
• Ensure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle
• Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards
• Work closely with relevant teams internally to ensure alignment and coordination across operations as part of the seamless implementation of existing and new systems
• Contribution to the definition of departmental and systems strategies and progression of any allocated objectives
• Work on a wide range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions and processes
• Take responsibility for making key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives
• Develop the initial framework or platform of the solution which each developer will use to build the solution
• Any other task/duty as directed by client/management

• An Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years solid experience in a professional capacity doing web and software development with strong knowledge in C#, ASP.NET, JavScript, and Microsoft technologies
• Front-end AND Back-end development experience
• Advanced knowledge in HTML/5, CSS/3, JavaScript, MS SQL Server 2008/2012, C#, and Python
• Advanced professional working vknowledge and experience in:

• Programming Languages: C#, ASP.NET, Go, R, JavaScript, X++, and Pythono Programming Languages: C#, ASP.NET, Go, R, JavaScript, X++, and Python
• CRM/ERP Systems: Dynamics CRM (highly desirable), or any other CRM/ERP system
• Tools: Git, Jenkins, Selenium, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Nagios, Docker 
• Cloud Platforms: Windows Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Compute Engine

• Proven experience in managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment
• Background in a variety of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile and
• Waterfall Experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design
• Experience in requirements capture, analysis techniques and process improvement approaches
• A strong work ethic complimented by solid administrative skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A commitment to client service and a flexible can-do attitude to respond to client and business needs
• A motivated individual with experience in taking responsibility and can independently deliver results on both departmental and business projects
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills
• Excellent personal organisation and ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks
• Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
• Comfortable working without routine supervision
• A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current technologies
