As the Digital Analytics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and integrating data-related activities focusing on website performance, user behavior, and the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and troubleshooting a range of analytics and ad tracking tools. Your role involves a deep understanding of both 1st-party and 3rd-party tools, with a particular emphasis on privacy and data accuracy.
Responsibilities
Comprehensive Analytics Implementation and Management: Oversee the implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of web analytics tools, including proprietary (1st-party) and third - party platforms like Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Ensure accurate tag implementation and data flow for reliable reporting.
Expertise in Ad Tracking: Implement and manage ad tracking solutions across platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, and Bing. Employ your HTML and JavaScript knowledge to ensure seamless integration and accurate data capture
Data Integration and Reporting: Harmonize the use of 3rd-party tools with in-house, privacyconscious, first-party tools. Develop and manage insightful report dashboards in Google Analytics 4, ensuring reporting accuracy and actionable insights
Data Analytics and Privacy Focus: Spearhead initiatives to synchronize different data collection tools. Emphasize a strong, in-house 1st party data analytics solution, prioritizing user privacy and data security
Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and interpret key website performance indicators from both 1st-party and 3rd-party data. Utilize analytical findings to optimize website performance and user experience.
Campaign Analysis and A/B Testing: Conduct comprehensive A/B testing for marketing campaigns, landing pages, and website designs. Work closely with the marketing team to track and quantify the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns.
Team Education and Collaboration: Educate team members on advanced web analytics techniques. Collaborate across departments to ensure a cohesive understanding and application of 1st-party and 3rd-party analytics tools.
Qualifications
Digital agency work experience preferred but not required, Marketing understanding required.
Proven experience in digital analytics, including expertise in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and other ad tracking platforms.
Strong knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical team members.
