The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO this is a senior management appointment which will see the successful candidate responsible for the end to end marketing function of our business.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
Day to day management of the group's digital presence
Hands-on responsibility for managing, implementing and formulating SEO strategies to optimise the organic and paid SEO performance of the business
Conducting regular analyses of the brands' SEO performance to identify opportunities, challenges and the status of competitors
Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
Tracking and reporting on keyword performance and all AdWords campaigns
Liaising and managing external suppliers where needed
Managing Search budgets and ensuring a high ROI
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Managing content strategy across email and social media channels to increase the database and increase overall engagement
Design, build and maintain social media presence
Managing and maintain the businesses website
Provide functional expertise, best practices and recommendations regarding he execution of digital marketing campaigns
Manage marketing campaign strategy and content development and delivery across multiple web sites and other digital channels
Apply expertise to demonstrate how digital communications can improve the reach and enhance effectiveness of marketing campaign content
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies; plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights; instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners as needed
Brand Management
Develop the brand strategy and creative marketing activities resulting in ongoing dynamic growth of the business
Overall positioning and content messaging of the business
Leveraging the right platforms to enhance the businesses presence, brand and image
Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure brand alignment
Direct Marketing
Devising marketing solutions to meet business objectives
Development of an annual strategic marketing program
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Management of the overall marketing budget
An innate ability to deploy technology to improve efficiency
Qualifications
Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in business or marketing
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a product marketing or services marketing role
Proven experience and passion in all things digital
Extensive direct marketing experience
Required expertise
Experience with content automation systems – Act-On/HubSpot/Marketo etc
Experience with SalesForce CRM
High level ability in planning and executing a range of digital marketing and direct marketing tactics that align with overall strategy
Sound understanding of lead nurturing and working with sales professionals in identifying strategies to nurture and convert new leads and manage relationships with existing clients
Intermediate expertise in the Adobe suite – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Google Adwords certification preferable
Experience with Google Analytics and SEO Moz to manage and monitor SEO performance
Proven experience in developing, implementing and executing high value social media campaigns aimed at a) attracting new staff and b) connecting with clients and potential clients
