Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager manages the overall day-to-day operational and administrative tasks within theweb development and digital marketing team. The position handles the creation of daily, weekly, and monthlytasks of the team, scheduling of tasks and ensures that all tasks are done on time, is at par with the qualitystandards and is within the budget.

Responsibilities

  • Will handle the Web Development Team
  • Provides day-to-day operational and project support to the team and the client
  • Will be in charge of handling team members workloads and tasks who are based around the globe
  • Manages clients' compliance to company systems and policies
  • Responsible for creation of and Management of development work, and plans out the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks of the team
  • Carries out daily operational duties and responsible for motivating employees; leads by example
  • Monitors team performance, attendance, productivity, etc. and ensures that SLAs are regularly met
  • Motivates and encourages employees through positive communication and create effective channels for employee feedback
  • Assists in the development of strategic plans for operational activity
  • Creates documented processes for Operations and the Web Development team overall
  • Formulates and implements departmental & organizational policies and operational plans & procedures to maximize output
  • Review and evaluate staff individual strengths and areas for improvement; produce performance reviews
  • Monitor and report individual and team performance through regular scorecard reviews
  • Provide effective coaching and perform the appropriate corrective/disciplinary action as needed
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of the team's outputs
  • Ensure that all projects and tasks are done in a timely manner and are within the identified project budget
  • Must be able to manage high-pressure situations and feel comfortable pushing back on stakeholders and developers to meet the end goal
  • Accountable to the CEO through summaries, communication updates, Asana updates
  • Must possess strong Leadership qualities, be assertive but friendly
  • Must feel comfortable making decisions of task priority without the assistance of other managers, but feel comfortable working autonomously while decision making
  • Must be proficient in Asana, have experience creating resource planning schedules, be accountable and comfortable reporting to the CEO as required.
 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or any related course is a plus but hands on experience is better
  • With at least 2 years in the Information Technology and Digital Marketing industry, and a hands-on experience in team, operations and quality management
  • Strong English communication skills with the ability to convey issues accurately, effectively and often with empathy
  • Can deal effectively, comfortably, and confidently with clients at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank
  • Must be willing to do ground work in order to assist the team effectively
  • Ability to make sound decisions, is goal-oriented, energetic, and a forward thinker who has set high standards
  • With proven planning and leadership skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, has good judgment, and should be able to think strategically
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and is a quick thinker
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, experience in creating and using a Gantt chart is a plus Trustworthy, reliable, takes initiative, and has the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and tasks at a time. There are often 30 tasks with the development team at any given time.
