Finance Funds Manager

The role will report to the onshore Senior Finance Manager and is expected to manage the junior Property Funds Finance members.

This role primarily involves fund operations, statutory and management reporting, and tax compliance for Centuria Property Funds (including Centuria’s Healthcare Funds).

The healthcare funds property and funds reporting are currently outsourced to an external accounting firm and the Finance Manager will play a vital part in the internalization of this function. This role will also be responsible for the preparation of reporting outputs to the rest of the business as well as the day-to-day fund operations.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of annual and half-year statutory accounts including preparing the consolidation model and cash flow statement
  • Review of monthly management accounts and partnering with the business (property accounting and property management teams) to review annual budgets and update rolling annual forecast including commentary of any variations
  • Use data analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau to create more meaningful reporting
  • Preparation of technical accounting papers
  • Preparation and review of tax distribution calculations and drafting of tax return
  • Review of BAS
  • Management of month-end process including review of AR, AP, Capex accruals, month end journals
  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintenance of the general ledger system (MRI, Xero)
  • Responsible for external and internal audit requirements
  • Management of junior team members

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy or any Business related course, Certified Public Accountant is an advantage but not required
  • At least 5 years minimum finance manager experience
  • Candidates with a background in Property Funds Management is an advantage
  • Experience in a multinational company is an advantage
  • System experience (OneSource Accounts Production for financial statements, MRI property management system)
  • Experience in Australian trust accounting experience
  • Must have strong English communication skills
  • Proactive with good interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Must be willing to work in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, in an early morning shift
