HR Business Partner

The People and Culture Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with the employees and management of the assigned client/s. The role assesses and anticipates HR related needs. Will be in charge of communicating and developing HR related solutions proactively to the client with the approval of the People and Culture Manager. The role will form partnerships across the client stakeholders and with the different management support departments to deliver value-added service to the assigned client/s.

Responsibilities

To establish and develop a strategic relationship with client stakeholders by  understanding the business needs and recommends the necessary approach in driving its  business directives in accordance and compliance to Philippine labor laws and company specific processes and policies.

HR- OPERATIONS (SERVICE DELIVERY)

  • Act as the main point of contact for all concerns in relation to one’s employment including necessary documentations and certifications.
  • Oversees and reviews employee movement documentation to ensure accuracy in records  and employees are updated of their new movements and/or status within the  organization.
  • Conducts and facilitates HR-related enablement sessions to ensure that employees are  kept updated as well as informed on the latest policies, guidelines and systems in use  essential to the completion of the client staff’s work.
  • Ensures that all HR-related service level agreements (SLAs) are met within the agreed  timelines.

TIMEKEEPING, PAYROLL, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Validate attendance of client staff, hours worked, leave filing, attendance modification  requests and update in MyDiversify every payroll cut-off.
  • Handle or escalate complaints or questions regarding discrepancies in attendance and  payroll processing.
  • Ensure that government numbers of new hires are submitted by the client staff and  closely works with Compensation and Benefits Consultant on queries pertaining to  government mandated benefits.

LABOUR RELATIONS

  • Ensure proper implementation of discipline management across all client staff of the  assigned client of account in close coordination with Sr Labour Relations Consultant.
  • Prepares and serves the Notices to Explain (NTEs), Decision Memos (DMs) and conducts
  • Administrative Hearing with client staff of the assigned account.
  • Handles the Exit Management Process (off-boarding) by ensuring separating client staff undergo a rigid and proper exit process.
  • Spearheads the Exit Interview Process and leverages on the acquired information to  understand attrition and further build on retention strategies in order to implement  process improvement initiatives for the assigned client account.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure timely communication, execution and completion of the performance evaluation process for probationary employees (third and fifth month assessment), and annual performance review process.
  • Develop methods of measuring if performance management aligns with organizational  goals.
  • Create and update Performance Review Framework, competency assessment tools for  the client

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

  • Provides partnership to the client of account to identify strategies to increase employee
  • Engagement through effective communication, policies, and practices.
  • Recommends client specific engagement strategies and oversees company events and is involved in the design and development of each initiative and ensures these are aligned  with overall client requirement and business needs.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience as an HR Business Partner, mostly focused on Employee  Relations is desired for this position 
  • With excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and deal with different types of people, in all levels of the organization is  essential
  • Successful hire must be confident in communication and building a harmonious relationship  with both the client and their staff
  • Must have a pleasing personality and confidence in handling challenging situations
