Inside Sale Executive

An inside sales executive will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Start and manage and evolve a sales pipeline throughout the entire inside sales process.
  • Generate list of prospects and contact for decision makers within SME businesses .
  • Generate leads via cold calling and email communication .
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process .
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty .
  • Understand and demonstrate the products or service to the customer.
  • Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by Sherpa leadership.
  • Drive acquisition across key verticals.
  • Increasing Sherpa’s market penetration in the NZ SME segment.
  • Phone or virtual client meetings to identify, qualify and close opportunities.
  • Collaborating with all levels of relationships from retail merchants to C-level executives.
  • Analyze customer feedback and collaborate with the product and operation teams to improve the product.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify new NZ opportunities for company growth.

 

 

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience selling SaaS products / logistics  .
  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce.
  • SME sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record hitting and exceeding targets .
  • Successful history of net direct new business sales .
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow up skills.
  • Experience selling to C-suite and Founders.
  • Driven, self-motivated and organized.
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS.Office,Google office tools (particularly Google).
  • Logistics knowledge is an advantage.
