The JIRA Developer & Administrator is responsible for understanding the current process, identifying gaps, and gathering requirements to develop and deliver customized applications/projects to meet the organizational demands.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and administer Atlassian products (Software, Service Desk, Confluence)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across organization, gather requirements to develop, and deliver custom templates, workflows (automation) using Atlassian products (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence etc.)
Create and maintain detailed technical and user facing documentation
Handles the Jira User Management
Responsible for assigning Jira tickets filed by the users
Manages project configurations such as workflows, SLA, fields, screens, permissions and dashboards
Create, maintain and update the company’s knowledge base with confluence
Design and configure asset management in JIRA
Qualifications
At least 2-5 years of experience in Jira development and administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Articulate writing skills suitable for a business environment
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Self-motivated and able to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
Customer service oriented
Nice to have: Previous Tech Support experience.
This role will be for a project based contract of 6 months, with a possibility to become a full time position
Interested candidates for this role must be willing to work in a mid-shift (starting afternoon Manila time) since this will be supporting a UK-based client
