A Lead Generation Representative achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services via phone. The role is also responsible for servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and launching new accounts. A Lead Generation Representative must be able to demonstrate products and/or services by personally contacting existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach and assisting them in selecting what is best suited to their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and establishes working relationships with customers and potential customers in the market assigned
  • Promotes the company’s products and services through inbound/outbound calls
  • Assists customers with their requests, orders, and inquiries Communicates well with customers and listens intently to help them convey their needs
  • Generates reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly/annual sales reports
  • Conduct high level of activities to develop new accounts and drive sales through inbound and outbound calls
  • Provide customers with product and service information and identify potential consulting clients for referrals
  • Meet overall sales and performance targets and standards as specified in line with both client and company expectations
  • Act as point-of-contact between customers and the local sales team based in Australia while working as part of a broader team to achieve and exceed given targets
  • Provide polite, professional, and effective service to prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls
  • Qualify and schedule appointments for local sales representatives to meet with prospective customers
  • Work with local sales team to support closing off of the best possible deal

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Lead Generation

 

  • Conduct leads generation and appointment setting; research for new possible leads within a given territory
  • Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from a variety of sources (online search, existing database/directory, etc.)
  • Provide assistance in creating and enhancing the campaign list, writing and editing sales and marketing materials/spiels
  • Accurately document status of leads generated; complete appropriate back-end tasks such as recording customer sales information at time of sale
  • Keeps well-informed data about the products and services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through research
  • Prospecting to develop and acquire new leads; generate high volume of leads by utilising different sales strategies
  • Utilize available resources to target cold calls and identify potential new customers
  • Ensures that quality sales are produced by developing expertise via networking, research, trade groups, etc.
  • Perform follow ups via email as directed.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed at least 2 years of Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in any course
  • At least 1-2 years’ sales experience in the BPO industry
  • Proven track record in lead generation, inbound and outbound sales
  • Ability to meet sales targets with the capacity to handle rejection from clients
  • Results-driven and goal-oriented; background in phone sales (inbound/outbound: B2C/B2B sales)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, and Excel Spreadsheets) and is tech savvy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • With good comprehension and active listening skills
  • Ability to be flexible to changing demands and challenges and exercise initiative
  • Highly self-motivated and energetic
  • Work schedule is from Mondays to Fridays, from 10:00AM – 7:00PM (PDT), 1:00AM – 10:00AM (PST), but candidates amenable to flexibility in work schedule is preferred
