The Operations Supervisor primarily responsibility is to lead the teams on delivering fulfillment services across all brands for customers who are travelling with us. The primary responsibility of the role is to work with the Product Load & Travel System Supervisor on all activity for system loads allowing us to sell product via all channels. To liaise with Product Load & Travel System Supervisor, Travel System Support Officers & Team Leaders regarding required service updates and system problems (if applicable)
Responsibilities
Lead, coach & develop team leaders and members to enable them to efficiently & accurately load all product (across all systems)
Ensure that the team leaders and teams maintain benchmarks on an individual and daily basis through daily goal setting: KPI’s & Quality Assurance evaluations
Understand all targets and use management input/direction effectively to lead team performance e.g. deadlines of all product being loaded and available for sale on time.
Monitor the workflow of the team, ensuring team leaders are allocating tasks to the team members to achieve the required output and meet Service Level Agreements.
Regularly observe work practices to ensure all work is accurate and completed to company quality standards.
Handle escalated or complex tasks within a timely manner.
Motivate and encourage team spirit and team members to achieve excellent results by taking ownership of their work and demonstrating business behaviours.
Collaborate with HR (regarding individual staff accountability), identify high potential staff and underperforming staff, providing necessary skill-based coaching and consistently reporting these details to Product Load & Travel System Supervisor.
Handle team members’ performance through HR accountabilities and systems including identifying high potential staff and manage underperforming staff.
Encourage and recognise work of the team, providing constructive feedback and leading continuous improvement.
Promote teamwork by observing all standards in product loading, performance reporting, training & daily staff requirements.
Identify better ways to perform tasks and contribute ideas to make systems, processes and procedures improvements, we appreciate initiatives. Not all can be implemented.
Maintain strong working relationships with other teams, Managers within the company.
Comprehensive knowledge & understanding to work with, interpret & provide team member support on excel load forms
Comprehensive troubleshooting of all system issues raised
Transparent & regular communication between stakeholders, to ensure smooth transition of activities are carried out via available systems/tools
Track all work for Core & Non-Core activities (Priority List & EOS report)
Undertaking and other tasks assigned by the Manager of this role, as requested
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree
At least 5 years of work experience in the related field is required
Candidates must have strong attention to detail and can work well under pressure
Must be organized and systematic in handling multiple tasks
Strong problem solving ability, solutions orientated, positive attitude and approach
Highly motivated, self-starter, organized
Experience with Travel account is an advantage
Experience using travel reservation tools such as Galileo and Amadeus is an advantage but not required
Candidates must have strong English communication skills, both written and oral
Must be willing to work in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, in a morning shift
