To assist and support the Supply Chain Technology and Team Leader in designing and mapping the processes of supply chains. With this, you will be steering the integration and configuration of supply chain systems, mastering data effectiveness to ensure that the systems are continuously improving and functioning at an optimal level.
You will also closely collaborate with service delivery, logistics, category management, finance, and engineering teams to ensure excellent execution of system functions.
Overall, you will be driving technical efficiency across the company’s supply chain.
Responsibilities
Designing and Mapping of Supply Chain Processes
Lead the design initiatives of supply chain processes towards Business Process Management (BPM) and Six Sigma methodology.
Develop comprehensive process flowcharts and blueprint documents.
Map out the supply chain Ticketing System escalation paths for prompt and streamlined resolution of issues, ensuring continuous operations.
Design and oversee the testing process, release cycle, and change management functions to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates.
Create a streamlined daily logistics health check routine using available tools and logistics incident alerts. Keep other teams informed regarding business requirements and challenges.
Lastly, consistently improve the supply chain processes.
Logistics system incident scorecard and continuous process improvement
Maintain a scorecard for incidents and configuration changes in the logistics system.
Assist the Supply Chain Technology team leader with root cause analysis of logistics incidents.
Provide comprehensive data insights and evidence from documented incident statistics to aid in analysing the cause and effect of gaps in the logistics system processes.
Support the Supply Chain Technology team leader in enhancing logistics processes.
Aid the Supply Chain Technology team leader during external meetings with software vendors by documenting discussion points and system improvement action plans.
Implement new system configuration requirements based on improvement action plans and evaluate the enhancements in system performance.
Logistics system and configuration (Supportive role for team backup)
Provide supportive assistance in documenting logistics system configuration requirements, adhering to the existing logistics process hierarchy structure approach when required.
Support team members in reviewing open incident tickets in the logistics ticket system, executing logistics system configuration change requests and inquiries on an as-needed basis.
Assist in updating system configuration attributes at Central administrator page, carrier integrator, and parcel track and trace software, adhering to new business, new suppliers onboarding, and change requirements when called upon.
Offer help in documenting logistics system configuration changes and communicating logistics system configuration change impacts to business unit owners as per the identified responsibility assignment matrix in logistics standard operating procedure when needed.
Aid in reporting logistics system configuration changes summary when required.
Qualifications
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (a huge plus)
Hands-on experience applying Six Sigma methodologies in a logistics or supply chain environment, including the Pareto Principle, Basic Metrics, The 5 Whys, and Creating a Problem Statement.
Proficiency in Business Process Management (BPM) and process mapping.
Tertiary Degree in Information Technology or related fields.
Practical experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, and order management. SQL experience: capable of creating SQL queries, comprehending database structures, and understanding the relationship between SQL tables.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables with data models.
In-depth understanding of logistics order and material flows to ensure seamless operations, underpinned by a strong foundation in Six Sigma principles.
Adaptable to new tools and technologies, like ChatGPT, to enhance the design and control of supply chain processes.
Strong proficiency in logistics KPIs, metrics, and business functional terminology.
Excellent information processing skills, particularly in classification and categorisation.
Effective and precise business communications skills.
Collaborative and influential engagement approach with various business units and stakeholders.
Ability to align with organisational objectives and industry best practices.
Must be willing to work on-site in BGC Taguig, following a morning shift schedule
