Property Accounting Senior Manager

The Property Accounting Senior Manager position is responsible for the operational and technical lead of the Property Financial Accounting team. The role will report to Senior Finance Manager, Shared Services. This role ensures consistent management of key tasks and functions for Accounts Payable across both Property and Corporate divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing team of 12 Property Financial Accounting staff including 4 direct reports, staff predominantly based off-shore (Manila)
  • Property Financial Accounting responsibilities across more than 300 assets with aggressive growth strategy
  • Overview of monthly accruals processing with specified time window; Income, Expenses and Outgoings
  • Review monthly reporting outputs, P&L Variance, Trial Balance, Reporting Packs
  • Drive reporting improvements with Application Management team as well as key business stakeholders including Asset Portfolio Managers and Property Funds Finance
  • Property Accounting SME Lead for Projects; Reporting, Asset Migration, Blackline
  • Lead reporting and engagement with external investors and Property Agents
  • Engage with Property Transaction Accounting Teams, AP, AR and Bank Reconciliation

Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of leadership experience
  • Experience in Property Accounting Management is highly preferred
  • CPA or CA license is preferred
  • Experience working with the Australian market is nice to have
  • Should have a strong personality and should not be afraid to push back
  • Must be courageous, has conviction and possesses strong leadership skills
  • Must be a good communicator and have a mastery of the English language
  • Must be confident in digesting numbers
