Quality Administrator

  • Facilitating the QAQC function in line with the T&W Private Label (Import) Quality process and liaising with internal (T&W) and external (suppliers and inspectors) stakeholders.
  • Manage and circulate quality-related communications to stakeholders as needed, handle all QC inspection bookings, update inspection status in appropriate systems and tracking document, and provide supporting analysis where necessary.

Responsibilities

QC Inspection Booking

  • Manage the bookings of all third-party QC inspections and factory audits
  • Act as a point of contact between T&W, third-party QC agency and suppliers
  • Liaise with internal team members to facilitate the speedy development and ordering of new product
  • Update order QC status accordingly in SAP and any internal tracking documents

Supplier Liaison

  • Act as a point of contact between T&W and private label import suppliers, for all quality related matters
  • Build good working relationships with our import suppliers
  • Communicate with the internal team to ensure we meet all quality deadlines (e.g. QC inspection report approval within 48 hours)
  • Circulate and communicate any new quality procedures and policies with suppliers, providing clarification as needed and managing tracking of responses

Quality Improvement (Administration)

  • Collate photo’s of ‘What Good Looks Like’ and ‘What Bad Looks Like’ from QC inspection reports for quality improvement purposes
  • Work with customer care to log, track and measure product issues; to identify early-trends and assist in continuous improvement solutions
  • Provide fortnightly supporting data / report to buying teams to show key quality issues reported by customers
  • Collate and distribute photos of product damages to relevant team members as required
  • List key quality issues identified from each inspection report so that they can be addressed during the next inspection
