Revit Draftsman

The Revit Draftsman is responsible for pre and post contract design development and post contract construction documentation ensuring all client and contractual requirements are met or exceeded, and to provide sufficient details for Sales, Estimating and Construction Departments.

• Work with the Internal Drafting and Design Department to provide Sketch and Concept drawings for residential homes through the use of Revit software
• Create sketches on earthworks, site works, topography, surveys, retaining walls and sewers
• Develop the sales concept and provide initial drawings, changes, elevations and details as required.
• Interpret and understand various Australian housing codes and regulations.
• Interpret and understand contract documents, as well as sales and client requests.
• Compile detailed drawings to be used in the preparation of Building Approval documents, and for use by Estimating to place orders.
• Manage personal workload and prioritise tasks effectively to achieve required timelines

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in design and drafting
• Experience in handling residential and commercial projects
• Working knowledge in the use of design software, specifically in Revit
• Excellent organisational, decision making, time management and administration skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion
• Ability to liaise at an executive level, work under pressure and multi-task
• Must be open to work in a morning shift following the Australian timezone
• Candidates will be required to submit samples of their design portfolio, highlighting working drawings
