Reporting to the Property Management Controller of Picket, the Senior Accountant will serve as anintegral member of the Finance Team. This position will be responsible for financial reporting andaccounting of the client’s actual financial results. The Senior Accountant will have primary day-to-dayresponsibility for ensuring timely and accurate financial data and reviewing all accounting transactions.The Senior Accountant will provide supervision to the off-shore accounting team members, will exhibitthe highest levels of professionalism and integrity, and promote best practices as it relates to accountingand financial stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Review journal entries, accrual entries, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • General Ledger maintenance of Oracle NetSuite.
  • Prepare, review, and ensure the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables comply with company and client requirements. including but not limited to, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statements and supporting schedules.
  • Support to the annual audit/review of financial statements.
  • Monitor staff performance, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and conduct annual performance reviews for the off-shore team.
  • Spearhead month end, quarterly and annual close to achieve required business day deliverables.
  • Perform vendor payments.
  • Provide training to the junior staff.
  • Act as team’s back-u.
  • Other ad- hoc projects that maybe assigned.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least aBachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy or any Business.
    related course, Certified Public Accountant is prerequisite for this role.
  • Five years of professional accounting experience.
  • Property management & acquisition accounting experience is a benefit.
  • Proven experience with oversight of general accounting and preparation of financial statements.
  • Experience working with external auditors.
  • US GAAP knowledge is required.
  • NetSuite experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and delivering results.
  • Exceptional and impeccable written, oral, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Amenable to work in 1 Nito Tower in Nightshift – Monday to Fridays.
