Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Morning Shift)

• Collaborate within the Data and Analytics team to identify and define data requirements for various projects.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy
• Proficiently identify and address data anomalies and modelling errors to uphold the quality and integrity of our data tables
• Offer quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) support to colleagues in reviewing and enhancing their data models
• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for key stakeholders
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Mentor more junior team members.

• Proficiency in crafting complex SQL queries, with a preference for experience on the Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven expertise in developing ETL, data models and identifying and resolving data-related issues.
• Experience working with dbt
• Experience in turning raw data into master tables and data marts
• Proficiency in creating intricate data models or modifying existing data models
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute effectively to group projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedicated commitment to precision during data analytics tasks
• Willing to work on a permanent work on site setup, BGC Taguig

 

Nice to have:

 

• Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI/Looker)
• eCommerce experience or retail industry experience
• Prior experience in using R or Python
