The Supplier and Purchasing Assistant will support the recovery of supplier / carrier credit claims through effective and accurate claim preparation and supplier liaison.
Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately entering information into the relevant systems in a timely manner whilst ensuring quality and accuracy of data
Check and validate completeness of documents before process; check source documents for accuracy and verify data and correct data where necessary
Preparing and submitting credit claims
Communicating with suppliers / carriers to assist with claims and disputes, in line with supplier / carrier trading terms and company policies via phone and email
Building and maintaining close links with all suppliers, to ensure the smooth running of accounts and encourage timely recovery of payments
Accurate data entry and general administrative tasks
Any other task/duty as directed by client/management
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Excel and is tech-savvy
At least 2 to 3 years of related work experience in administrative functions and customer service
Understanding of credit claims and e-Commerce shipping/operational processes is a definite advantage
Previous experience in customer and/or supplier relationship building is preferred
Organized and systematic in handling multiple tasks
Must have effective planning, organizational skills and can work under pressure
High attention to detail, dependable with value for work ethics and customer service
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Provide prompt and professional client service at all times
Amenable to work in Bonifacio Global City, Monday – Friday in an early morning shift (6:00 am - 3:00 pm)
