Supplier Credits Assistant

To support the recovery of supplier/carrier credit claims through effective and accurate claim preparation and supplier liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and submitting credit claims through the implementation of documented and standardised policies, procedures and processes.
  • Ensuring accuracy of data inputs to facilitate informed business decisions and negotiations with suppliers
  • Assisting in an effective program of continuous improvement, ensuring clear communication and alignment between departments including buying, customer care, operations and finance
  • Ensuring appropriate amount and type of evidence is collected in order to support successful recovery of claims, including images, delivery confirmation etc.
  • Communicating with suppliers / carriers to assist with claims and disputes, in line with supplier / carrier trading terms and company policies
  • Build and maintain close links with all suppliers, to ensure smooth running of accounts and encourage timely recovery of payments
  • Ensuring compliance with terms, policies and procedures
  • Accurate data entry and general administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least an Associate or Bachelor’s/College degree in Finance, Marketing or any related course
  • At least 1 to 2 years of work experience in the related field such as customer and/or supplier relationship building
  • Previous experience in customer and/or supplier relationship building
  • Strong command of the English language; Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to communicate issues or solutions when identified
  • Ability to work deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Positive and motivated attitude
  • Track record of taking responsibility and ownership for successful outcomes
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Excel and is tech savvy
  • Understanding of eCommerce shipping/operational processes beneficial but not a requirement
  • Must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig City in an early morning shift
