Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager is in-charge of the overall management of Talent Acquisition Team. This position is also fully responsible for the development of the recruitment process and the implementation of recruitment innovations and solving all issues evolving during hiring job vacancies and takes all managerial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counselling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analysing initial interviews; recommending changes
  • Conducts calibration meetings with clients/hiring managers to ensure understanding of recruitment requirements, processes and timelines
  • Meets with clients/hiring managers on a regular basis to identify potential gaps and provides regular feedback to everybody involved in the Recruitment process
  • Sets recruitment measurement and distributes the job vacancies across all Recruiters
  • Builds a healthy relationship with internal customers and external recruitment vendors
  • Responsible for the development of the recruitment team in Human Resources, develops successors and increases the value added by the team members
  • Ensures that all manpower requirements are delivered within the agreed upon turn-around time
  • Facilitate the process of salary negotiations and job offer
  • Create and develop sourcing initiatives and develop a solid pipeline of applicants
  • Responsible for the full utilization of social media channels and online communication for the Recruitment team which includes making a decision on targeted niches and the content of the social media messages
  • Drives process improvement for higher efficiency and timely closure of outstanding recruitment requests
  • Provide timely recruitment reports for analysis and strategizing
  • Research and provide regular reports on industry and market competition

Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment in the same capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Science, Behavioral Science, or equivalent
  • Strong client relations background
  • Strong interpersonal skills across all people in all departments, as well as externally with clients, business partners  and suppliers
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey issues accurately, effectively and often with empathy to people at all levels
  • Specific skills in drafting and interpreting documentation (Policies, Processes, Checklists, etc.)
  • Have an understanding of the current business climate and career trends  with strong business understanding and acumen
  • Exceptional time management and work prioritization skills with the ability to switch between issues as required
  • Competent with budgets, targets and finances; trustworthy, intuitive, organized and methodical 
  • Good management and interpersonal skills; approachable, and can deal with matters with integrity, fairness and diplomacy
  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills with the ability to liaise with staff and clients at all levels
  • Experience working in fast-moving, high-volume working environment/industry
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking capability with proven track record in meeting tight deadlines
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong planning, coordination, organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications with strong MS Excel skills and is tech savvy
  • With pleasing personality, positive working attitude, and is customer service-oriented
  • Strong commitment to client service and a flexible can-do attitude that responds to client and business needs
  • Patient and flexible in all work duties
