The Team Lead role encompasses the responsibility of guiding, overseeing, and managing their designated portfolio.
• Drive the team's performance including but not limited to productivity, quality, and attendance.
• Conduct regular audits of the team members to ensure adherence to workflows and overall client success.
• Identify opportunities that are related to performance deficiencies both on an individual level and team level.
• Ensure SOPs are implemented through strict enforcement.
• Set clear and proper objectives to team members to ensure that the team's goals are met.
• Liaise necessary information to both the management and team members.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions with team members to support them in achieving their performance and career goals.
• Work with the operations manager by establishing effective communication to ensure that roadblocks and issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Comply with operational objectives to contribute to the success of the organization in meeting the needs of its clients and team members.
• Other duties assigned.
• High School Diploma required Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial and Government Insurance plans, eligibility, and expert understanding of medical billing - PREFERRED
• 3+ Years of Experience in Revenue Cycle Management and Certification Billing/Coding.
