The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for the timely completion of work requests, trouble tickets and other technology-focused tasks, as required, while providing remote technical end-user support.
Responsibilities
Providing assistance to our customers’ technical issues through identification of problems, research on answers and subsequent provision of guidance.
Support in the development of programs to educate customers on best practices, and the correct use of the platform.
Understanding and address the customers’ concerns by recommending services or accurate procedures.
Troubleshooting blockers and challenges in completing routine and ad-hoc tasks.
Evaluation of systemic issues, root cause analysis and communication of problems to recommend enhancements.
Managing a high volume of customer enquiries for VIP customers
Completing both routine and ad-hoc tasks defined by the client accurately and within the defined SLA’s.
Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of experience being a technical support
Experience in providing technical support, an advantage
Strong skills in using Microsoft Office
Must have strong written and verbal English communication and listening skills
Must be a team player with proven experience in working successfully with others to solve problems efficiently and effectively
Must have a record of proactivity & ownership taking
Must be capable of working under pressure
