The Umbraco Developer role will work with our technical team and clients to provide industry-leading, quality and maintainable solutions, which will help enable our client's success.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated back end developer at the mid-level to senior developer level. You must be delivery and outcome focused, with the ability to problem solve, take responsibility and contribute to a team-first culture.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the architecture and development of implementations and custom .NET web applications
Develop and maintain templates and modules on the Umbraco platform
Develop new web applications utilizing existing, packaged or customized applications
Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Perform complete testing of web applications – unit and system
Analyze application and database performance on new and existing programs
Analyze and satisfy business requirements and architect software solutions
Participate in web project estimation and integration sessions
Understand technical specifications provided and define program structure and general logic
Completes technical analysis, design, coding and testing for development and support initiatives
Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to programs developed
Ensures applications meet requirements and desired quality and signs off on all technical aspects of work
Employ best practices for designing scalable, extensible, secure applications in a Windows environment
Assist other developers with .NET enterprise application design strategies
Any other task/duty as directed by client/management
Qualifications
Diploma or university degree in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
With 3 years or more hands-on software development experience using .NET technologies (C#, ASP) and database technologies (i.e. SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Service)
At least 1-3 years solid experience using Umbraco version 7.7 or later is preferred and must be knowledgeable in terminologies for Umbraco Data Infrastructure
Experience in updating Umbraco and its module to newer version
Exposure to CMS platforms preferred
Strong understanding of .NET technologies: ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, MVC, IIS, SQL Server
Experience with assorted Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, XML
Core Technology

Must have experience supporting the Umbraco platform (supported indexes, system integration, performance monitoring, created modules and web applications within the platform)
Exposure in Agile software development methodology
Ability to define and investigate system problems; understands, reads, and executes database scripts, system specifications, and business requirements
Must be able to work in a very fast-paced global environment
Maintain a strong understanding of industry and enterprise-wide trends and stay up-to-date on Umbraco and emerging technologies and apply to daily work
Excellent written and oral communication skills
